Some questions and opinions on HID

I have 96 DC4 USDM and I was wondering what will look nice for brights and normal lights.
I was thinking 10k normal and then 4.5k brights....how would that look pretty ugly or what?

Also about HIDs ...what makes them brighter? The more wattage or what? I am pretty much a noob at these.

I have a 8k with 35w ballast for my low, and since I have hids I don't care for my high beams, although I would like to tint them yellow. I think they look badass with yellow high beams

I have 6k 35w ddm hids. They look sexy, but the best way to do hids would be a full retrofit.

35w is how much power they draw. You can get 35 or 55w hid's. The higher the wattage, the brighter the light.

:smackself: When you change a lightbulb, you have to get a specific wattage bulb, right? And how do bulbs show how bright they are? Wattage (W) in numbers: 25W, 55W, 100W, etc... Higher the number, brighter it is...
