ok,
my problem:
koni's bottom out quite often
tires rub quite often
my setup:
koni yellows
off-the-shelf ground control sleeve system
ebay extended tophats
tires are 195/55/15
my settings:
full firm on the front koni
halfway for the rears on firmness
bumpstops are 1/3 of their original size (cut them)
front fenders are rolled
fender liners have been removed in the front
pinch weld has been hammered towards the UCA, but the UCA have room to move
I was maybe 1 inch lower in the front, but the tires would rub as soon as I gave the car gas and, of course, on turns.
So what do you think I should do? EDIT: Ideally I want to go lower than where I'm at.
195/50's would stop rubbing
i doubt its your shock is bottoming out. its most likely your uca hitting. you could get those uca bump stops from energy suspension.
