I already complain here about how I get next to no hours because of what a bitch she is. I went in Saturday to check my hours, I had 14hrs for this week working today, tomorrow and Thurs. I ran a few minutes late today, called in to let her know I'd be right there and she told me to stay home because someone else was already coming in.... The guy that was coming in lives 45 mins away, I live 4 blocks away and it would take me 5 mins to walk there.
Anyway, I go in tonight (probably about 8) to get some soda and check my hours to be sure. Well I go in, there's a new person that took said she started this morning and then check my schedule.... A different schedule was posted and the new person took my hours tomorrow, so I only have 4 hours this week and next week's was up too. Only 4 hours next week, whereas the new person has 18.... The most I've gotten since I've started there was 15.
I bust my ass the little bit that I'm there and this is the type of shit that goes on.

The wonderful world of retail. I worked for target for 3 years only got 13 cents in raises. Got my "yearly" review after 2 months working there. Trained my department general manager after my 3rd month there. Was told I would work in the meat department ended up doing frozen, dairy, dry foods, deli, bakery, food court, Starbucks, registers and backroom stocking. All while taking care of my grandpa who has parkikns. And was told if I left or called in to take him to the hospital again I would be fired. I feel your pain.

Dude, I would rather work at Target... I actually got hired there for seasonal early morning stock last Winter as a second job so I could try and fix my Teg faster. Before I even applied I discussed it with my supervisor and his bosses at the job I was working at the time (porter at Ford dealer), saying he would rearrange the schedule if I got the job.
Sure enough with my shit luck, as soon as I got hired for the position and talked it over again with him, he wouldn't rearrange the fucking schedule and kept giving me early mornings, when I was supposed to be at Target... Like 2 weeks later they threatened to fire me if I showed up late one more time due to me having personal problems (scooter was wrecked at the time and the Saturn I was driving just blew the motor). So I quit like 2 days later... No job until this craptastic Dollar General job I started at the end of June.
I probably have the worst luck when it comes to work :lol: Sorry to everyone else for flooding the thread with my problems.

I meant look lol. My typing skills are bad. I was trying to do homework and procrastinate at the same time.
Anyways, my instructor wants us to bring our cars in so we can practice how to write up a repair order and we are allowed to inspect our cars as well while it's in the garage so I just wanna get a good look at it. I forgot my shifter bushings at home, or else that would've been a perfect time to replace them.

I can get a GSR longblock for $600, It needs the crank polished and new bearings, and needs a dizzy and intake manifold to be complete. Worth 600 or not?

It's all good man. That's pretty cool. I hope my program is like that. I'm studying automotive as well come September. The program I took last year to get all my requirements was very boring. Math, English, Physics and Chemistry every single day. This program should make all the hard work last year worth it.

Not because once you pull it apart the. You have to spend $$ on another head gasket, piston rings and on top of that you have to replace all the missing parts...PASS!!!
