I am willing to remove anything that is not VERY overrated ... I want nothing comfort wise.. Hence why p/s is out and i want ABS and A/C as well .. As long as it's not going to put me in danger and be reliable like i said like a go-cart .. So please anything else you have in mind let me know , I am more than thankful for any guidance , especially from someone that is experienced on this subject :D
look through my thread for some quick tips on what you can and cant remove. Donut's thread is also a good resource. Nick and I basically have the same stuff missing, I may have a bit lighter car due to missing some more creature comforts. Theres weight everywhere in that car you can remove. also you should be able to get ~50lbs lighter than nick and I since we have cages.

Welcome. A few things I can think of are the arm rest and center piece around the shifter, roof liner, sun visors, blower motor, climate control, door pannels, a pillars, switch windows over to manual ones, delete crusie control that will take a few pounds off. And if your wanting to get crazy I've read a few magazines where they drill out bumper supports, replace door windows with Plexiglas. Once your done with the body you can turn to the motor. Lightweight exhaust, intake manifold, flywheel.

Also why do I keep seeing GSRs with b16s? I just don't get it.

Thanks alot lots of things on that list i haven't considered or heard yet... But like i said it is going to be daily driven as well so i won't do things like bumper support , Plexiglass and sun visor .. Lol sun visors aren't even 5 pounds together.. Also i like using the Arm rest but ill see if i can live with it...

I will do pillars , roof liner , arm rest , i believe the blower motor is included in the A/C removal? Try to find someone thats willing to switch me their manual window and cruise control.. I believe the climate control is the thing on top of the stereo? Yea well A/C delete covers that as well..

No fucks given.
You're not gonna have any luck with manual windows since every 94-01 came with power windows regardless of trim. Even my base RS has them.

Thanx alot saved me from wasting time... Ill still be looking out for it though.. How much is the weight saving anyways ? Figure won't be more than 20 lbs... It was actually one of the things i wanted to keep... Sunroof is the second thing... Not that i need or want them but since they came with the car why not... Were you the person that said the RS roof skin? Any links i can check out where this is done i can't seem to find one...

Idk about these cars, but I remember reading something a few years ago for the Talon that said the weight difference was only like 6 pounds at best.

I was the one that suggested the RS roof. I can't remember off the top of my head, but I know a few members have went and done it. Keep a look out on CL for shells popping up and check junkyards.

This is for an EF, but it should be the same process to cut/install: http://www.performanceforum.com/wesvann/honda/roof/roof.html

Wow that does not look like an EZ process :p Well i don't even have a welder in my house have somebody i know that has everything needed for this job though.. Jeep Timmy is his name , ill go ask him if he can do this for me if not ill get a body shop to do it later ( Might as well take advantage of El Paso's Hispanic Workshops :D ) Seriously though those guys chop things up and weld them back everyday should be no problem for them... For now ill focus things that are easier and getting my car back on the road... Thanks a lot for the help... Will definitely do this at some point of my build...

Soo guys just got done , Taking those plastic trims out.. I might have lost about 2lbs during this based on how sweaty i got.. Jumping in and out of the trunk... Honda/Acura definitely didn't want their trim removed it seems , There was about 4 different types of bolts . some hidden in the darkest parts :D Especially the one next to rear suspension under the cover got me ! lol... But also had a nasty surprise , you guys tell me how nasty it is... Anyone know what the heck this thing is? It's disconnected/cut and rest of it goes under the fender somewhere...

All the little things add up. It all depends on how low you wanna go.
SInce this is not a track/race car i can live with small things here and there weighing me down... I seriously dont think taking the cruise control out or converting to manual windows will get me any faster time when i go to the strip... Time will come though and ill go all out but for now.. I need things like AC / and ABS since I believe im actually going to feel a difference, especially because they also draw power from the engine...
