It's normal because the auto's have really long gears and only four speeds.idk if its normal or not, i dont have the knowledge. but i can give you something to compare to. I have a stock 96 LS auto, and @ 72 mph im just above 3K RPM (in 4th gear i believe :cry

That sounds about right. My 01 LS is about 70-75 at 3.5k.

alright, i just remembered, i still gotta make the front clasps for my blinkers and mount my front bumper, and splice on the new blinker connectors, the person who had the car before me thought it would be a good idea to cut them....
