I see myself making more than that lol I wouldn't call it hard I would call it a challenge. We have a really good tuner here in NC. I drives a high high comp boosted civic. He know his sh** and can tune on pretty much all the platforms. I've done my research, I'm not one of the noobs that come here with unrealistic goals.
Before people keep getting crazy negative. What kind of dyno? If it is a dynapack your quest is going be a hell of a lot easier since they tend to read 8%-15% higher than dynojets. Either way I say good luck sir. I can't wait to see the head work you will have done.

Which one is more accurate

Accuracy is a relative term. So many factors come in to play when you dyno a car. Dynapacks read horse power at the hub, since it bolts up to them. Dynojet reads wheel, but also have the possibility as slippage. No dyno is the most accurate. They are tuning/diagnostic tools, not measuring sticks.

I see but then if you get it read st the hub it will be more because it loses hp as it goes to the wheels?

Yes. Unsprung weight is something not to be overlooked. Wheel weight plays an important role in to how much horsepower you have to the wheels.

My Plans:
JDM ITR Shift Linkage
Headgasket, timing belt, water pump, etc for the new engine
Megan SS 4-2-1 Headers
Tires for my Slips
Camber Kits
And if I strike gold I want my windows tinted (which means I need a new driver side manual window regulator)

Dynopack is what it will be tuned on. I know the build will require head work. That is what I have been researching these last free weeks. Things like the benefits from a p&p, 5 angle valve job vs. 3 angle valve jobs, flat faced valves to boost compression, cams for the said compression. I want to do this right :)

200 is a ridiculous amount bud.. Just being realistic, but im sure you've already came to that conclusion yourself. It's going to take a lot of money.. Goodluck. It'll be badass if accomplished.

Does this have any benefits over other oem linkages? I was actually wondering the same thing a couple days ago when I came across an aftermarket linkage. I'd imagine weight to be a little lighter.

I dont think 200 is ridiculous. There are a few guys on H-T with all motor LS's in the 170s and low 180s with mild head work p30 piston and crower 404s. I dont think hitting 200 will be hard. As for money I know it will cost quite a bit but who cares so does any other REAL build...

Dyno's lie, track numbers don't! I can make a stock civic read 200hp by tweaking some settings in the dyno. I wouldn't put to much weight into trying to reach a HP number, I would put more weight into trying to build a reliable car that makes solid power across the board and performs well in any type of driving you may put it through.

-Buy a second vehicle to DD
-Go sub 2:10 at buttonwillow with current set up.
-4.9 FD and LSD
-JRSC + Roll bar
-Dump girlfriend to have funds to do all of it.

Lower it, rear subframe brace, larger rear sway bar, front lip, rear window visor, tint, maybe a new sub, and a double din 7in.

Can somebody tweak settings on the Mustang dyno I run on. It would make me feel better about myself, and boost self esteem if it read higher...
