Haha it's a worthy investment. I'm tired of holding still at night for a nice pic while the camera gathers a light source. My jeans aren't holding up to well with me kneeling on one knee to hold the balance of the camera. Lol.

the one i have is hella small would be perfect for you its a targus and its from bestbuy or target, its at most 24" long fully collapsed

That sounds good. I just need a basic one to use. I'm pretty sure I'll be using this camera for the next two years before I upgrade, unless I come across a good deal.
