Have you used C-TEK rotors before?i like the ctek ones they seem to be stronger than the brembo blanks
Oh okay. Thought you were still on Brembos.i have them. they are "stoptech blanks"
So after each track day, you can take them back for new ones?I am personally going to start using autozone rotors when I upgrade to the itr calipers/mini cooper rotor combo. Yay for warranty exchanges.
That sucks. Less options for consumers now.brembo is discontinuing their blanks.
Exactly. Maybe not after every track day, don't want to have to keep reseating the pads. But yeah. Plan on getting cobalt xr2 next. So they should eat those cheap rotors fairly quick. lolSo after each track day, you can take them back for new ones?
I'm glad my DC4 isn't my DD. My old DB8 was my DD/track car and boy was it a pain to maintain. Having two cars is actually cheaper and less of a headache.Exactly. The plan is actually to get itr calipers and 2 sets of duralast mini cooper rotors. One pair to use with the cobalts for the track, and another pair to use with some cheap DD pads. Be damned if I am using $190 dollar pads for DD. lol
x2...except right now. i have to drive the car with the most gas until i get paid :cry:I'm glad my DC4 isn't my DD. My old DB8 was my DD/track car and boy was it a pain to maintain. Having two cars is actually cheaper and less of a headache.
