yeah. I never thought to take it in 2nd, i saw daniel downshift to it in second and it dawned on me that im waiting for vtec at the beginning of the straight. -__-

I used to take Sunset in 3rd gear in the DB8 and I also take it in 3rd gear in the DC4 now.

idk im going to experiment with it, but on 3rd i feel like im slow getting out of it

Probably because you're not going into Sunset fast enough. You need to carry as much speed as possible coming out of the esses, go flat out down the short straight, brake and settle car down, then get back on the throttle as fast as possible. If you did those things, 3rd should've been perfect for Sunset.

Yessir. JDM B20B (high comp). It has good low to mid-range power/torque, but I need more up top, which is where VTEC would help a bunch. I like it though! The B20 revs up smoothly and has a very linear power band. And it sound damn good with the Mega Power! :thumbs up

That crossed my mind as well. i think i dont carry a lot of speed because i know i had a booboo there.
