Yea... It's easier to access it from under your car. But make sure if you do it yourself that you use jack stands to hold the DB up and not just a floor jack... In all the forums i'm on, I've heard of members dying by the car coming down on them.
a cloud of white smoke may be cause by a bad head gasket, not being able to start can be cause by a bad distributor. im having the same issue starting up.
yea it's not the head gasket man lol i would be able to go past like 50 with a cracked head plus no fluids is mixing, and yea its starting fine now and imma get the oil changed and drained out this weekend so it should A okay then thanks for the help guys as always
white smoke is coolant not oil blue is oil black is fuel look at the diesels with aftermarket parts when they accel. Do a compression check to see if the numbers are even compression loss can cause a engine to not want to start correctly when cold since it will be runnin rich with spark being advanced more or drip some oil onto hot exhaust manifold if it bubble its got coolant in it and that is a blown hg hope this helps
Does it smell like rotten eggs? A clogged cat can cuz a no start or startin issues butif misfiring and sending unburned fuel into cat super heats the materials into harden coal like shit? If its cold outside white smoke can be mistanken for steam which is fine if its not cold outside and still is it can only be coolant burning have you compression tested it?
Na i dont have things for compression test, but i need to replace my distributor cap, it got hit in the installation, all i can say is when it starts good, no smoke, when i gotta rev the start, i see smoke
