Heck your body and paint look nice compared to my teggy. I bought a black (sorta) 94 for $1400 with 123k on motor and trans. Everything works except stereo , and hold latch.

I picked mine up to save gas over the mustang and to sell my 09 cobalt as turbo

I'll be checking back in here incase I run into any similar problems with mine.

Started with my supplies, 2 cans of wheel paint, normal silver like OEM rims, filler primer+sandable (GREAT stuff by the way) 2 scotch bright pads, some super fine steel wool, degreaser, dawn dish soap and a can of engine clear coat (couldnt find anything else) and some index cards.. picked up my supplies from Lowe's (kmart had a sale for %25 off all rustoleum spray paint and lowes price matches+ beats by %10

Start off by jacking my whole car up and removed rims, the lugs were the biggest PITA ever, took most of my strength to break them loose

now I bought this integra from someone who lived beach side.. and these rims took a beating

So after scrubbing for over 20minutes on one rims alone I decided to break out my pressure washer

corrosion damage on all the lips
nice chunks on the rims itself missing

So after cleaning and drying I started prepping, added normal index cards and put between the rim and tire to prevent overspray

added some primer/filler and sanded down to an even coat all the way around,, each rim took about 20min each just for sanding
and the finished product after coating, notice where the big chunk was missing?

the center caps are almost done, but ordered some OEM style acura stickers to put on the center caps to look OEM again

So, Broke down and brought it to a shop.. the oil leak is NOT the headgasket but instead valve cover gasket, distributer gasket cam gasket and oil pan gasket... $200 for the whole job with parts and the best part is? on the way to the shop my stupid speedometer stopped working.. just went from 20mph to 0 and sat there

so update, the speedo works every other time you start the car so obviously its going out.. oh and the roaming rpms showed up and the oil leaks seems to have stopped but after scrubbing the engine even underneath it it still have this horrible oil burnoff smell and it smokes.. so obviously something else must be drenched in oil or something...

ok, so brought it to my local shop where they had replaced the oil pan gasket, and after scrubbing they see where it is exactly leaking... and the main leak is actually the timing belt gasket?.. so they lifted it up and I looked at it first hand, yea... there is a hole where the oil is just spitting out.. btw 1k miles on the new oil change and already a quart gone, so they quoted me $200 for parts and labor and they said thats the ONLY place the oil is leaking thats left.. this engine has more holes then a sponge

Decided to Re-do the interior today.. door panels and center console.. next is making a heat shield for the short ram and re-carpeting

OLD
the tools I used..
Philip screwdriver
3M grade 2 spray glue
Upholstery from Hobby Lobby (had 5 yards on clearance for $4 for the whole thing)
Utility knife
and a trusty butter knife
First took off the door card, First screw was cupholder, second was by the mirror and the 3rd was in the clip behind the door handle,Lift up but dont tear off too quickly as you have to unclip the connectors for power locks/windows if you have them. After the door card is off just dig the butter knife NEAR the edge to get a corner of the upholstery up and pull gently with your hands, it will most likely leave alot of the carpet behind so what i did was just took my butter knife and scraped away at it all until it was all gone,
precut enough to hang over on each side then applied the glue to the area and a little on the fabric itself DO NOT OVERSPRAY otherwise there is a good chance the glue will bleed through and ruin it
then pulled it with the palm of my hand until very tight then tucked the fabric with the butter knife on the sides and let dry, after trying you trim away excess with the utility knife and this is it after

Put it back on the door, reconnected clips first and when re-mounting it has to clip on the window part first

while waiting I also had a water leak problem and sanded away all the rust

and coated it with rubberized undercoating ( @ lowes for $7 a can)

its supposed to deaden sound and prevent rust?
and I also fixed my headlight problem, new headlight switch all problems fixed and also got a new passenger side headligth because the other ones clips were ruined and allowed water in.. and I think the previous owner converted it to a 97+ front end... how can I tell the difference because the light I had gotten came from a 99 integra and fit almost perfectly

Just bought some amber signals and a ViS CF hood from a local seller

A couple cracks... but for the price I paid I will not complain

Although the slight fitment issue bugs me a little, hopefully after my pins show up it will help it a little

Very much not a fan of the hood =/
me either, its kinda growing on me, it was a toss up between just a oem style CF hood or this one, but the other was way too chewed up, worst case scenario is I sell this one, but after my paint job hopefully it will blend :???:

It's the induction vent. I would sell it before dumping any more into it. How much you pay? I got mine for a great deal, damn near brand new, VIS brand
