Hayvan's Euro Spec ITR // Semi-track build

Hayvan

legitimately weird.
I've got a question for the DC drivers.

The 15" ITR rims are perfect for the track but on the road, not so much..
A friend of mine has a set of Enkei Racing S but the only thing is, they're 17x8
I've searched the interwebz but can't find any decent experiences, I don't want to slam the car as it has to stay functional but a nice drop would be nice.

So my question to y'all, 17x8 yay or nay?

Oh and here's a pic because the story above is boring;

I have to get the tires so that's not an issue, 205/40 would be my choice probably.
Don't know about the offset tho, will have to check that out Friday when I testfit 'em.

I have 17x7.5 te37s with 204/40s they ride nice on the highway. Some people don't like them because they think they're too big but I'm liking them more and more.

Always watching this build I love your car! :thumbs up

I personally prefer 16's as the best size, 15's too small and 17's too big. But you can do a search for integra 17's and see the pictures for yourself. Ill admit that ive seen a few with 17's that look good but its execution of appearance that makes it work or not work... for me. ^^ No 17's are gonna look good at stock height. I may some day do 17's for show.

Tbh I want 16" aswell, but the issue is 16" semi's are way too expensive here.
15" are much (and i mean MUCH) cheaper so i'm sticking with my EDM's on the track.
But as you can see on the pics above, it looks so 'neutral'.

So my plan was to get 16" TE37's or w/e but my friend told me he still had the Enkei's so yeah

Just found this pic and this would be perfect;

So i'm just going to try it out, I'll post pics after the fitment Friday
Thanks for the input :D

Your rims are one of the reasons I even thought about switching to 17's
Everyone here (in the Netherlands) says 16" is max and 17 is rice blabla
Biggest problem is that nearly all the ITR owners here are older people, regular Integra's never came out so the majority is stock and boring.

Hehe thanks!, it's not on par with your build(s) but I try :D

17's are excellent for a DC. I bought some 17" Enkei RCT1 for my Teg....8 months before buying the car itself :p

a good set of 17s is fine, 17s have tire more tiresizes than 16s but 15s are ideal

whats your brake set up?

OEM ITR, so 282 front and 262 rear.
JBT grooved discs with Ferodo DS2500's and Goodridge stainless steel lines

17x8 is weak. Our DC2 ITR used 17x9 with 255/40/17 up front and 17x8 with 225/45/17 in the rear. :thumbs up
