I ended up using everything from a 95 civic DX. Went to the junkyard and got every line that I could and the prop valve.Your rear lines will bolt right up, so you just gotta replace the fronts. I had to only get one line made since it wouldn't fit due to different brake master cylinder. Bought some line from advance and brought it to a brake shop that flared it for me and added fittings for $5, so I couldn't beat that! I rented the kit your talking about, but was having a hard time due to no vise, so I returned it and had the brake shop do it instead! LOL! That was down here in VA though where there isn't too much rust unlike MA is! Good luck man! Will look 10x better when done!

I am my my mechanic, i haven;t had anyone do anything to my car yet. Plus must mechanics around myy way are some shady people. Im not going to pay someone to half ass my s***. Wish me luck folks, off to the junkyard to get my parts then tomorrow is when i go crazy
i do some of my own shit, but not all of it. there's the time factor and the factor of only having one vehicle, then the factor of not owning a home, just an apartment...all those factors lead me to take it to my mechanic (whom i may have to find another anyway..*long story*) and have him do the work

Nice! Wasn't too bad to do was it? I did mine when the engine was halfway apart. Pretty easy when you got the room to do it.

lol telling me, S2 manifold sticks back so far i was like doing 1/8 turns and then had to turn the wrench opposite, and repeat, my arm got tires and back hurt. Not that bad though, no snags at all during the whole thing.

Yea, I did mine with the IM off so I could get at it easer. Well, at least it's done finally and that's all that counts! Only problem I had with mine is some small leaks here and there since I forgot to use teflon when I installed them back in, but so far no more leaks since I just tightened the fittings! Keeping my fingers crossed!

i didnt us teflon either but made them nice and tight, the flaring has rubber gaskets it connects to to prevent leaks you can see them in my 40/40 picture

I haven't had an issue yet since I tightened them all. I believe Honda used a liquid teflon on them since that was the yellow stuff on the OEM lines, but not sure. I think I just didn't tighten them enough and was afraid I was gonna strip them, but so far so good!

looks good, sooo eg dx lines will work for a integra abs delete? just need a 40/40 prop valve? any need for a different master cylinder?
