cutting a pinch weld is worse than bending it IMOOH ok, thanks and i was thinking of cutting it off,,lol good thing i found this Super sexy slammed thread.
I wont your risking the shock hitting the top hatwith everything assembled and the bumpstop shoved as far into the top hat as possible this is how far it sticks out. Should I trim some off?
those top hats are narrow inside is strut makes contact it would be metal to metalit doesn't hit the top hat it goes in the top hat if the bump stop is cut
those ebay top hats come with some strong rubber bump stumps, i was impressedLooks like I don't need to hammer the pinch weld on the front, I'm rubbing while going up a drive way because my bump stop turned to dust. Wish they made rubber ones, guess I gotta Jerry rig something up for bump stops
Have you gotten these on yet? I am thinking about going with the ebay top hats because I don't wanna drop so much on the GC top hatswith everything assembled and the bumpstop shoved as far into the top hat as possible this is how far it sticks out. Should I trim some off?
it will fit as long as its 4x100, your need some 195-45-16's and fender rolling. at a +20 offset no extra camber should be needed, or camber kitim looking to get these for my dc2: Rota Grid 16x8 +20mm
http://www.ebay.com/itm/16X8-ROTA-GRID-V-WHEELS-4X100-RIM-20MM-OFFSET-SPORT-BRONZE-/350518908495?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item519c8e164f&vxp=mtr
but when i check the compatibility on the website, it says this isn't compatible with my car
your thinking rota grids offroad, those are rota grid V'sbut what you will need is a 5mm spacer for the front to clear the spokes from the caliper. thatll put you at a +15 offset. you wont need extended studs to run 5mm.
