Up on the lake this weekend I got a chance to take a couple Star Trail pictures:

First Attempt:

I really want to try to take a longer one, but my battery on my camera doesn't last that long. I'll try and find a way to get more juice to it. if I can find an in camera charger I could probably do a couple hours. we'll see what happens. Either way, I was impressed with what came up for first tries.

Nice shots. I like the concept.

FYI: Anyone who hasn't caught it yet, the 7 brightest lines are the 7 stars of the Big Dipper.

I didn't realize that's what I was shooting until I finished the 2nd one. I thought it was kinda cool. lol
