Spent most of the day today working on these formulas and graphs for the input -> output Specifications. I also finished the prototype program and finished the Prototype P-Dip hardware version of the converter today. The only thing left is the final testing on my bench. Once everything is OK, we'll all have car ready units.

If you look at the following and your brains starts to hurt after a couple of seconds, you just might want to stop.

There is a lot of timing involved and everything is done in the Microseconds.

WELL HERE YOU GO WORLD, EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW INORDER TO BUILD YOUR OWN CONVERTER BOX. iF YOU USE THIS INFORMATION, PLEASE CONTRIBUTE TO THIS THREAD. IT IS WHAT OPEN SOURCE IS ALL ABOUT

Here is all of the information.

What a man im guessing the same information can be used to make this work with a civic too as you are using a b series engine and i have a b series engine all be it 1.6 and yours is 1.8

the speedo conversion section of this adaptor will work for all b-series, d-series, and k20a engines. off course, you'll have to find the wires in your harness since not all conectors are the same. Haven't tested the ECT side of the module but it should work and all b,d series as well.

a lil update with the bezel and watnot. i managed to snag a spare integra cluster as a doner so we can chop up, and i might try and sell the other stuff back in the classifieds :p

lets get the project poppin again! so, the plan is to use the clear plastic cover to help the s2k cluster flush in with the integra bezel. i made some illustrations on what i plan on doing before i start chopping. i a;sp plan on cutting the back portion of the cluster where the plugs connect, into a harness type deal maybe. haven't thought it through. please let me know if you guys agree, im just tossing out ideas. FEEL FREE TO CHIME IN

this is how the oem looks

now here's the critical part, now i figure i gotta cut the bezel. the angle of a s2k cluster. if anyone knows exactly, say something.

itll look like this

since we're at the frontal now, i'm thinking about going for the blue cut out? yay or nay?

and last but not elast the idea of a harness? i plan on cutting the outline and make it into a harness type shit. ill probably drill lil holes on the other side of the hole, and solder underdeath that back plane and seal that strip doen?

if anyone have any ideas or comments or info share it. i want to make a final decision before i cut into it.

just cut the wires from the stock integra plugs and wire them straight to the ap1 cluster plugs. i thought this over and over. Just not worth the time to cut then solder then solder again to the ap1 plug wires. As for mounting, i've seen it were people have done the exact same idea you've thinking about with the clear piece. i don't like that idea because now you've lost all access to the s2k buttons. i was thinkin of hollowing out the clear front face all the way to the edges. But still cutting that angle to have the s2k cluster mount up right. This way the cluster is free for button pressing. Because i need it for speedo to ECT feature. think about it some more and i will too.
