SS autochrome??

I heard alot of negative things about ss autochrome and hardly any positives. What is the weak link in the kit ? please no everything answers.....lol....thanks

haha its a no brainer, look at the link omni gave u, it says
"FITS ALL BE SERIES ENGINES
50mm DIAMETER BRACED PIPES"
i didnt know there were "be" series enigines

and yea i heard the manifolds and turbos crack in time

yes the turbos are like gorilla glued together they F*cking cheap as helll and so is everything else they sell thats why its like $1000 for their kit

I wouldn't trust a place as idiotic as to type like that, Be series engines, that's sad. Gorilla glued together, lol. :lol: You get what you pay for, they might be the outfit that makes turbo manifold's for Drag III's kits, lol.

My friend bought a complete kit off ebay and within a month the intake manifold flange broke completely away from the manifold. I wouldn't buy anything from them.

ya i always wondered about them myself seemed kinda shady with how vauge the descriptions are and how broad the applications list is like all their kits fit every honda made and they just look cheap

Yeah, when a company says it's turbo manifold will fit any Honda B series engine, be wary. It could mean you'll lose your AC, or your power steering, or you need to relocate your coolant reservoir or move your radiator or some crap. They conveniently leave that part out, like cam companies who say you'll get a 20 HP increase with their cams and leave out the part that you need to have a 12.5:1 compression ratio to do it.

Very true Full Race is the shit. Rather expensive but worth every penny in the long run. Rev Hard Turbos Greddy Turbos are good. Alot of people will tell you to just buy the turbo kit parts seperately and build your own turbo kit way cheaper and If you know what your looking for it can be way better.

how about the turbos? says that they have garrett internals but anyone with experience know anything about them??

ok so i ran into some turbo civics around where i live with SSAutochrome kits and all they did was get new manifolds(like drag) and there some pretty fast cars. had the turbos for like half a year
